David and Bharath on the impact of the growth of the medical industry on the local economy

This podcast from David Sills and Bharath Ramini discusses the microeconomic and macroeconomic factors that influence growth in the United States’ medical industry. Their hypothesis was proven correct based on data retrieved from their interview and research, which suggested that a direct correlation existed between growth in the health industry and employment opportunities; more health facilities allowed more access of health services to people, and as a result, created a higher demand for jobs that were related to health services.
